Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan - हनुमान - Episode 30 - 12th June, 2015

Hanuman hears some noise coming out from under the bed. He lifts up the bed with one hand. Anjana and everyone look on in shock. Anjana helps the daasi in coming out from under the bed. Hanuman smiles happily for he has found her. Dai Ma, Anjana and all the daasi’s have a hard time while keeping the bed back it its place. Anjana hugs her son. She is still shaken up by what she just witnessed.

Ma Parvati smiles seeing Hanuman’s antics. Lord Shiva opens his eyes and asks her what is making her so happy. She talks about Hanuman’s strength. He is just as strong as you. I think Shivansh will suit him. What do you think? Shivansh, Harishwar or Vedansh? Lord Shiva speaks to Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma through his mind / heart. What kind of a dilemma is this? How can I choose one name and upset the other two ladies? All three of them are in the same dilemma. Lord Shiva suggests that Lord Vishnu is the maintainer of the universe. I think you talk to him on this subject. Ma Parvati nods.

Hanuman’s strength also meant that the 3 lokas will soon be free of all the Danavs / Rakshasas. There was still time for the people living on earth to know about Sankatmochan’s birth.

A group of Rishi’s (Rishi Vishmbhar and his disciples) are going somewhere. They are singing Hari bhajan as they walk.

Kesari is reading something when Hanuman comes there with Anjana. Hanuman shares with his father that he played hide and seek today. I had loads of fun. Kesari is happy to see his son happy but he can see that Anjana is worried over something. She is about to say something when the one of the courtesans greet them. Rishi Vishambhar and his disciples are on their way to Badrikashram like every year with Narayan’s idol. He wants you to meet them and seek Lord’s blessings. Anjana nods.

Rishi Vishambhar was on a maun vrat since last 50 years. He never used to talk to anyone other than his Aradhya Narayan and dint even so much as look at anyone else in all these years. He could not think of anything other than Hari Naam.

Rishi Vishambhar and his disciples are outside Kesari’s palace. Kesari comes outside with his family along with Dai Ma and the daasi’s. Anjana tells Hanuman to fold his hands before the Lord. The idol turns into Lord Rama’s avatar. Hanuman’s hands fold automatically. He again says Rama. Rishi Vishmbhar stops his prayers and turns to look at Hanuman. Hanuman continues to utter Rama all this while. Kesari and Anjana try to correct Hanuman. This is Narayan. Hanuman denies. This is Rama only. Rishi Vishambhar breaks his maun vrat. This is the truth. Yuvraj (Hanuman) is right. Everyone is surprised. No one can understand Lord’s Leelas. Lord Narayan is Shri Rama and vice versa. Hanuman chants Rama. Rishi Vishambhar loves the way he utters it. he keeps his hand on Hanuman’s head and looks at him. One of his disciples asks him about the vrat. You have been keeping it since last 50 years! Rishi Vishambhar says think that my life found its meaning. The aim of my maun vrat is accomplished too. Kesari is confused. Rishi Vishambhar explains that it is about 50 years ago. I had done Tapasya of Brahma ji and he became happy. I wanted to know how the Rakshasas will end. He had told me that when I will listen a small kid saying Rama then I should understand that Lord Vishnu’s avatar and Sankatmochan’s avatar have taken birth to put an end to it. I had decided to keep quiet till Lord Narayan takes avatar on earth. Kesari and Anjana are emotional. Rishi Vishmbhar thanks Hanuman for giving him the hint that Lord Vishnu and Sankatmochan have taken birth. They all bow their heads before him and sing happily. Hanuman cannot take his eyes off the idol. He too dances merrily.

Ma Parvati, Ma Laxmi and Ma Saraswati meet again. the Naamkaran ceremony is tomorrow and we still haven’t found a name that describes Hanuman perfectly. The preps have begun.

Kesari has got a red coloured dhoti for tomorrow. Anjana recalls something and says Hey Shiv Shambhu. Hanuman copies her. Anjana wants only Hanuman to wear a red coloured dhoti. Kesari says what if a guest comes wearing a red coloured dhoti. She suggests him to wear what he had worn in his wedding. They both stay put on their points. Hanuman quietly walks away from there. He gets an idea. He calls out for his Ma.


Precap: Anjana is looking for Hanuman. No one has a clue. The ladies are making a garland. Anjana notices something moving under the garlands. She tries to look close and Hanuman surprises her.

Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan - हनुमान - Episode 27 - 9th June, 2015

The person, Sumantra, (who has brought the news about Shri Rama’s birth) is surprised. You said your son was born a few days ago. This kid looks a lot older than that. Kesari explains that their son is blessed by Lord Shiva. He is quite different. Hanuman comes and stands before Sumantra ji. He utters Ram.

Rukmini says Rama is another name for our Swami. It is very much alive in all the living / non-living things in this world. Shri Krishna smiles. Gurudev Vashisht has done the best thing by giving me this name. Bhole Baba has called this name Tarak Mantra. This name is the best and the easiest way to get me, especially in Kalyug. Hanuman lost himself in this name while Vali got busy in thinking about the Markat all the time.

Vali is doing exercise. He is thinking of Hanuman’s extra powers. How did he get it? Sugriv talks about how easily that kid (Hanuman) was throwing one heavy Gada in the air. He changes his statement a little when his brother glares at him. Sugriv suggests his brother to make another plan. You are Kishkindha’s Prince. It is my responsibility to keep any sort of danger away from you. Vali is irked that he is thinking that his great brother’s life is in risk because of that Markat. Vali makes it clear to him that he is better than him in every sense. I know that I should never consider anyone less. We will have to analyze that Markat’s capabilities and then only can we attack him. Sugriv is pleased that in the end, his brother did what he was actually trying to tell him to. You too will be smitten by his smile when we get to know Kanchnaad (Hanuman) more. your heart too will melt down.

At night, Anjana sings a lullaby to put Hanuman to sleep. Kesari stands by the window all this while. Anjana joins him. he is tensed thinking about their son. should I call him different or strange? Anjana too is amazed that their son is merely a few days old but he is around 5 year old now. She asks him about Maharaj Dashrath’s kids. What were their names? Kesari thinks and then starts from the youngest kid. Hanuman shifts in his bed as he hears Ram. A big smile spreads appears on his face. Anjana loves all the names. She finds Rama very peaceful. Kesari agrees with her. They too decide to keep a similar name for their son. Kesari shares that as per their family’s tradition the son chooses his name on its own. Hanuman chants Rama in his sleep. Anjana and Kesari can hear someone chanting Rama. They look around and finally realise that it is coming from their room only, from their son Hanuman. Anjana leans closer. It is actually coming from inside him (his heartbeats). His lips are not moving. Anjana and Kesari look on.


Next morning, Kesari is sitting beside Hanuman as he sleeps. He knows that their son is extra blessed by Lord Shiva. What’s the connection with this Rama Naam? Hanuman once again smiles hearing Rama. Kesari points out at the same. Anjana too smiles seeing their smiling. I too am surprised by his new antics daily. His birth has happened certainly for some bigger reason. only God can understand their own plans. Kesari agrees. The couple goes to do puja.

Anjana and Kesari do puja. Anjana sings a bhajan for Lord Shiva. Hanuman wakes up. He is happily going somewhere when Dai Ma stops him. he runs faster. He comes to where Anjana is praying. Dai Ma stops him from interrupting in the puja. Anjana finishes her puja. She doesn’t even turn back and tells Dai Ma to let her son come to her. Dai Ma is surprised. Anjana reasons that a mother knows everything. Hanuman watches Anjana offering jal to Shivlinga. He too tries to do so but she says one must take bath before doing puja. We should be properly clean, wear fresh clothes and have a pure heart to pray to the Lord. Hanuman eyes the pot in his hand sadly. Kesari vouches for him to life his mood. A kid’s heart is always pure. Anjana resumes her puja. Hanuman thinks of an idea. He pours that water over himself. He announces that he had a bath. His parents look at him in surprise. Hanuman takes the pot back from his mother so he can do Jal-Abhishek.Hanuman does Shivlinga’s Jal-Abhishek. The water pours from over Lord Shiva’s head in Kailash. He sits there with a smile on his face.


Precap: Ma Parvati comes once again to the palace in disguise with her Gauri’s cow. Anjana asks her about her son’s connection with Rama. Ma Parvati shares that her son has taken birth to help Vishnu’s Avatar Rama. The entire world will be amazed and besotted by his acts.

Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan - हनुमान - Episode 25 - 5th June, 2015

Bal Hanuman’s Chashti pujan ritual is happening in the palace. All the guests have arrived. Vali and Sugriv had come there as well (they were formally invited this time). Sugriv yearned to see Bal Hanuman whereas Vali was not even interested in seeing the baby.

Sugriv is heading towards Bal Hanuman’s room. He overhears Bal Hanuman chuckling to himself and is attracted.

Vali turns towards where Sugriv earlier sitting but his brother isn’t there. Where is my foolish brother? Hope he dint get into some trouble. He too goes to look for his brother. He cannot find Sugriv anywhere.

Sugriv is in Bal Hanuman’s room. He hides behind a curtain to see what Bal Hanuman is up to. I feel like seeing him every now and then. This baby had some effect on me. I had come to make him a captive but he has made me a captive. He observes Bal Hanuman playing with jewel boxes. He is literally smitten by the baby and his antics.

Vali comes to the same room where he had come yesterday. He pays respect to the Goddess’s photo on the wall. Atleast I dint get to see that inauspicious Markat (Bal Hanuman) today

Bal Hanuman notices Sugriv, who hides once again. this time Bal Hanuman hides. Sugriv comes out of his hiding place to look for him. He smiles after seeing the baby playing with the mirror.

Anjana goes to bring Bal Hanuman for the puja.

Sugriv picks up Bal Hanuman in his arms. He plays with him. you are so small yet you are so captivating. You are shining so brightly. How can someone call you a Markat? You are Kanchnao. Vali is once again looking for his brother. Anjana too is heading towards the room to bring her son in the puja. Sugriv shows him the mirror. This is me, Sugriv and this is you, Kanchnao. Sugriv overhears his brother calling out for him. he runs out of the room with Bal Hanuman to save him. Vali comes there but his brother is not there. Sugriv is walking in the corridor when Anjana notices him. How come my son is with you? Who are you? Sugriv gives some lame excuse and leaves Bal Hanuman with her.

Rukmini says Sugriv too couldn’t stop himself from giving a name to Hanuman. Kanchnao – shining like gold. Some relations are made on its own. They are bigger than the ones that you share with your loved ones.

Vali returns to his place. Sugriv is already sitting there. Vali questions him on his act of disappearing. Sugriv lies that he saw his friend from Gurukul. I was talking to him only. Vali is irked as he dint tell him about it.


Anjana comes there with Bal Hanuman. Vali is not at all happy. Sugriv cannot understand what he is getting into. Will I have to go against Vali bhaiya? How will I be able to do it?

Kesari, Anjana and Bal Hanuman sit for the puja. Bal Hanuman’s smile irritates Vali all the more. Bal Hanuman notices his parents holding out their respective hands when the priest comes to tie the holy thread. He too extends his hand for the same. Everyone is surprised by his smartness except Vali. Suddenly, the fire in the havan kund becomes intense. Everyone gets a little worried. Bal Hanuman smiles happily. A very giant bright light comes out from the fire. Everyone gets up and folds their hands before him. Anjana recalls seeing a similar kind of light coming out from Bal Hanuman when he was born. Kesari too thinks of the same.Agni Dev appears. They all pay respects to him including Bal Hanuman. Agni Devi blesses Bal Hanuman. Everything is back to normal afterwards.

Tejas is used for fire. Agni Dev himself called Bal Hanuman Tejas! Some people were happy, some were surprised while some were disturbed (Vali). Anjana is guiding Bal Hanuman to seek elders blessings. Blessings give us strength. Bal Hanuman nods. Kesari comes in the room. Bal Hanuman goes and immediately touches his feet. Kesari and Anjana get emotional. Kesari picks him up in his arms. It is true. A mother is the first Guru of her son. a child is directed in the right direction by her guidance. Anjana says a child is attached to a mother first of all. Her womb is the first school for her child. They discuss about how importance Ma is in the scriptures even. Bal Hanuman addresses Anjana as Ma. They are stunned / overwhelmed.


Precap: Someone informs Kesari and Anjana that Maharaj Dashrath got lucky with 4 sons. His eldest son’s name is Ram. Bal Hanuman hears it. He grows magically and chants Ram naam. His parents are amazed to see his growth.

Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan - हनुमान - Episode 23 - 3rd June, 2015

Kailash got stable but the other mountains started shaking after hearing Dashanan’s screams / cries. The nature was badly affected. Dashanan couldn’t even bear pressure applied by Mahadev’s thumb only. He was being punished as per Nandi’s curse. Dashanan started shouting, screaming. His name became Ravan for the very same reason. He accepted his crime and even did repentance. Ravan sings a song in his Aradhya’s honour. He spent 1k years like this. Bholenath cannot bear it when someone insults His innocent devotees. He is Jagat Pita. He cannot be upset with anyone for long.

Mahadev melts down after hearing Ravan’s prayers. Ravan is finally able to free his hands from under the mountain. He is in a semi conscious state but continues chanting Om Namah Shivaye. Lord Shiva appears there. Ravan gets happy after seeing his Aradhya. Ravan resumes singing in his honour. Lord Shiva is happy with his dedication. He gives him a Khadag. No one can win over it but only till the time you follow dharma. It will lose its worth otherwhise.

Shri Krishna also says Om Namah Shivaye. He is so innocent. He punished like a father and also gave a boon when Ravan had apologized to him. His wives also chant Om Namah Shivaye. Shri Krishna talks about the incident where Hanuman too had picked up a mountain. His motive was to help others though. Rukmini has a question. One can handle a son like Ravan but how to handle a cute little baby like Hanuman? Shri Krishna replies that Hanuman is only under Rama’s spell. It is impossible to try any other way with him.

Anjana is putting Bal Hanuman to sleep but he goes towards his father when Kesari comes there. Kesari knows that Bal Hanuman will not stick at one place. Anjana sings a lullaby to put Bal Hanuman to sleep. She talks about moon in her lullaby. Bal Hanuman eyes the moon curiously. It appears to be smiling back at him. He finally drifts off to sleep. Kesari has fallen asleep by then. She too goes to lie down.

Bal Hanuman wakes up in the middle of the night. He finds his parents sleeping peacefully. He wants to see the moon. He picks up a few pillows and keeps them on top of each other so he is able to climb up to the railing of his room. He stands there for a while but then slips. He holds onto to the railing though. The very next second he is flying in the air. He is brought inside the room and Vayu Dev holds him in his arms. It is one of your attributes as Vayu cannot stick at one place. You are Lord Shiva’s ansh after all. Bal Hanuman smiles back at him. Vayu Dev puts him back in the bed. They both keep smiling at each other for a while.


Precap: Dai Ma takes Anjana for something. Bal Hanuman cannot be a part of it so Anjana leaves him in the room. Sugriv has picked up Bal Hanuman. He is going out of the room when Anjana notices him. How come my son is with you? Who are you?

Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan - हनुमान - Episode 22 - 2nd June, 2015

Ravan comes to Kaliash to meet his aaradhya Mahadev. He ignores Nandi but Nandi politely tells him that no one is allowed to go forward. I am following my Swami’s orders. Ravan’s ego gets hurt. Ravan says I am sparing you for my Swami only. Nandi insists that Bholenath himself has said that he cannot meet anyone. They get into a war of words. Nandi and Ravan perceive devotion differently. Ravan calls Nandi an animal. Nandi reasons that Bholenath is called as Pashupati Nath too. Ravan is in no mood to get in a scuffle with such an ordinary Pashu. Nandi continues to politely tell him against trying to meet Mahadev today. Ravan wonders what is the reason behind it Ma Parvati and Lord Shiva are spending some time together (dancing). Ravan warns Nandi not to mess with him but Nandi too warns him back saying that he wont let him defy his Swami’s orders. Ravan attacks Nandi so their war begins. Nandi says you are not going to die by my hands. You are actually calling for problems / misery for yourself by getting into a fight with me. You should return. Ravan refuses to budge from his decision.


Nandi gets irked. You are a foolish devotee as you are ignoring your own Lord’s orders. Ravan hits him angrily. I thought you are a bull but you are no less than a vanar (monkey). You are trying to mock Lanka-aadhipati Dashanan! Mahadev makes anyone his Gana. He has appointed a dumb minded Vanar like Gana (Nandi) for security. I don’t count vanar’s equivalent to anything. He laughs at Nandi. Nandi is simply following his Prabhu’s orders. But now listen, you will be forced to give up before the very same vanar’s who you consider dumb. Your arrogance, fame will be destroyed by the very same vanar’s. The vanar’s will set fire to your sinful Lanka and destroy it. Your Rakshas kul will be destroyed because of the vanar’s. They will be the reason of your death! You will be the so called devil in all the 3 lokas. The vanar will be made in a huge idol and will be worshipped everywhere. This is my curse to you. Ma Parvati stops in her tracks after hearing the same. Lord Shiva tells her that Nandi has punished a sinner correctly.

Rukmini says Lord Bholenath took birth in Hanuman ji’s avatar to kill the arrogant Dashanan. He guided Shri Rama’s vanar sena. Shri Krishna points out to the other important lesson that one can learn from the incident. One should never come between the Lord and his devotee, especially not between Lord Bholenath and Nandi Maharaj. Nandi is the symbol of dharma. Lord Bholenath is always with dharma and dharma always continues to serve Lord Bholenath. Trying to get in between them is equivalent to creating problems in dharma actually! Satyabhama feels that Ravan must be scared after getting cursed. Shri Krishna replies otherwise. Ravan would have been forgiven for a few sins if that was the case. But he had actually become super arrogant and angry.

Ravan again mocks. You think I will get scared of a vanar’s curse and apologize to you? You haven’t seen my powers yet. I wont waste them on you though as you are nothing in front of my eyes. I will make it completely meaningless now. Wait here and see how I take Kailash with me to Lanka now. Nandi requests Lord Shiva to help him. I tried to stop Ravan a lot but in vain.

Ravan picks up the mountain with all his might but Mahadev gets angry. His happy dance turns into Tandav. Ravan takes multiple avatars and they all pick up the mountain from all the sides. Ravan chants Om Namah Shivaye as he picks the mountain but and right then Mahadev touches his thumb (of feet) on the tip of the mountain which results in the mountain going back to its original place. Ravan screams out in pain. Epi ends on Mahadev’s angry face.


Precap: Bal Hanuman wakes up at night. His parents are fast asleep. He wants to see the moon. He picks up a few pillows and keeps them on top of each other so he is able to climb up to the window sill of his room. He stands there for a while but then slips. He holds onto to the edge.
